One day out of the blue Barbara Mandrell called me and said... "Will you come out to my house? I want to talk to you!" When I arrived at this huge log home known as "Fontanel" Barbara took me to their "Great Room" sat me down and said.. "We are doing a secret TV special for Ralph Emery on TNN and I want you to be part of it. You co-host with Ralph and you have recorded 2 albums on RCA records with Ralph... so we want you to do a segment picking on Ralph's early records." I just about flipped out. It was so cool to see Shotgun Red's name at the top of the show with all the big stars and to be part of such a legendary show! My segment is right in between The Gatlin Brothers and The Oak Ridge Boys... For ease of download I split the show into 2 parts. There is a link at the end of part #1 t...

You know the session is perfect when the GROOVE DOESN'T MOVE!!!!! But that's what happens when you have..... Mike Cleveland on mandolin, Patrick McAvinue on fiddle, Barry Reed on bass, Jake Workman on lead & rhythm guitar and Jesse Smathers on rhythm guitar This is track is a Bluegrass rock solid groove of EPIC levels.
Estranho é gostar tanto do seu All Star azul
E entro no elevador
Aperto o 12 que é o seu andar
Não vejo a hora de te encontrar
E continuar aquela conversa
Que não terminamos ontem
Ficou pra hoje
